Medtrition: Regional Nutrition Sales Manager

Medtrition, Inc., an industry leading and rapidly growing organization in the modular nutrition and medical foods segment, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Carolinas to join our national sales team. RD credential is preferred. 

Job Functions

• Work closely with the Division Manager and the VP of Sales to understand and execute the territory specific plan to meet and exceed established revenue and product distribution goals

 • Create and maintain a wide level of relationships within the acute care and long-term care setting including the nursing department, food service staff, dietitians, clinical nutrition managers, purchasing and materials management, and other key departments related to the procurement and utilization of our product line.

• Increase the organization's ability to track field performance and activity by recording sales on the CRM, using the system for call preparation/follow-up and to record market intelligence data.

• Set appointments with key department heads and conduct in-services of new products for all current and newly sold accounts.

• Participate as needed in regional key conventions and exhibits, such as Dietetic Associations, Wound Conferences and DON meetings.

• Utilize established pricing, which is determined by channel, in order to drive profitable sales, and increase account penetration at current customers by selling all key focus items.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

• 3 or more years of selling experience as a sales representative or sales manager, specifically in the healthcare or nutrition industry.

• Ability to travel to designated accounts regularly, including being on the road visiting accounts at least 80% of the time, and to attend company sales meetings as planned both digitally and in person.

• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office and the company CRM.

Bethea Retirement Community: Registered Dietitian

Bethea Retirement Community has a great opportunity for a full time Registered Dietitian. The RD will serve as the clinic coordinator for our skilled nursing facility, complete assessments, care plans and progress notes. They will also have an opportunity to provide education for our Independent Residents and participate in menu planning with our residents.

Bethea Retirement Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with Independent Living Cottages, Independent Living Apartments, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. Last year we moved into our new skilled neighborhoods (Household Model). Bethea also offers inpatient and outpatient rehab and an aquatic wellness program. We are looking for a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to provide nutrition education and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for the University community, including students, faculty, and staff. The main focus of this position is to provide clinically appropriate nutrition education and MNT toward the collaborative management of eating disorders and MNT for medical disorders including diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders, and other medical nutrition disorders, as well as weight management counseling that utilizes a non-diet approach and health-at-every-size model. The RD/RDN will participate in weekly eating disorder consultation team activities and serve on collaborative teams within Student Health Services (SHS) to provide effective nutrition services within our Patient-Centered Medical Home. This position works collaboratively within the Healthy Campus Initiatives of Student Health Services and with campus and community partners toward strategic campus goals for healthy eating. Duties may include but are not limited to: one on one MNT, group nutrition appointments, mindful eating education and outreach opportunities across campus. This employee will research and provide educational/prevention nutrition information for SHS providers and health educators and serve as a resource for student interviews if time permits.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, nutrition education, or other related area and 1year experience in a clinical, public health or institutional setting; or a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, community nutrition and 3 years’ experience. Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian in South Carolina or eligible to become registered and licensed. CPR/BLS certified or ability to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications: Eligibility for registration to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Knowledge and experience in working with sports nutrition, eating disorders, clinical nutrition and chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, celiac, Crohn’s, etc.). Experience working within a college health setting.
