Session Title: Putting the Principles of Intuitive Eating Into Practice In The Workplace

Description: This session will review the principles of Intuitive Eating and explore how RDs/DTRs can implement intuitive eating concepts in their professional space regardless if you are in clinical, community or in private practice. As a result of this session you will: 1. Increasing familiarity with the principles of Intuitive Eating, 2. Be able to identify three ways to incorporate principles of Intuitive Eating your current role and 3. Improve confidence using Intuitive Eating with patients/clients.

Speaker Bio:
Kayla Fitzgerald is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. She received a B.S. in Dietetics from Kansas State University and completed her Dietetic Internship at MUSC where she worked as a Clinical Dietitian. She is the owner of Endurance Nutrition and the head Dietitian at Locomotion Fitness where she uses the principles of Intuitive Eating and evidenced based research to help her clients fuel their body for performance and everyday life. Outside of work, Kayla loves spending time with her husband and 2 kids doing anything that involves being outside! She is also an avid runner who has completed several ultramarathons.
